Surf Nerds!

Balaram Stack and Mike Dunphy faced off on Transworld Surf's games show, Surf Nerds this week and the outcome wasn't pretty for our New Yorker Balaram Stack. With a slow hand and alot of brain farts he left it wide open for the walking encyclopedia of surfing Michael Dunphy. Good game boys.

TJ in CA

Tj has been in CA for a little over two weeks now. i haven't gotten to surf with him due to a super busy schedule but from what i see and hear he's surfing alot. I snagged a photo Billy Hopkins got of him while out on injury the other day. Hopefully ill get in the water with him soon.

South With Bogart

Today Richie and i went down to San Clemente and surfed perfect Lowers. Took some pics along the way with the camera phone and threw a little something together. Check out some of the photos from the journey. More stuff to come about Richies trip.

TJ's Sequence.

TJ Gumiela, best friend/New Yorker headed down to PR for the winter to escape the cold of NY, and has something to show for it. Tj got the sequence of the week on surfline recently with a huge air reverse. check it out here!

Gregor From The East!

This week Blake Gregor flew in from home (New York) for a week of surf and hanging out. This was his first trip to California alone and a good one at that. With the swell building the second he got off the plane he got some pretty good surf. I took him to spots from Newport, Huntington, Salt creek and tried to go to lowers but as you know there was a CONTEST, so we couldn't surf there, Weak! Check out a few photos from his trip (none of surfing becasue were not rich enough to have a sick lens). He got to experience Al Cap's famous Bagel with Cream Cheese, Avacodo and Lemon pepper. On top of everything he even scored a used board to replace his rusty scab. Hope to see him back soon.

Stack Goes Down Under.

Fellow New Yorker and good friend Balaram Stack stopped by my place in CA for a few days before heading off to Australia for the Quiksilver Road To The Pro Tour. He has been getting sick waves and im sure seeing a ton of awesome stuff, How do i know this besides talking to him? Drunk Chicks.

You have to love when a drunk chick stumbles into the surf shop at 8:30 on a Tuesday Night and passes out on the footwear bench for a nap. So goood!
